Our valued client is the leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance management solutions to businesses and organizations throughout the world. They have helped thousands of organizations — ranging from Fortune 500 businesses and large financial institutions to small and medium-sized retailers—manage compliance and secure their network infrastructure, data communications and critical information assets. They are looking to add a Senior Consultant – Information Security to their growing team of security experts.
The Senior Consultant role is reserved for those consultants who have demonstrated capability to work effectively as individuals and as part of a team. This individual has significant technical expertise as well as solid communications ability. They are improving on their project management and client relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
· Delivery of projects sold per SOW or direction from VP/MC
- Meeting minimum revenue goals as defined within the bonus plan
- Completing projects on time, within budget with maximum efficiency
- Identify up-sells with existing and potential clients
- Utilize Compliance Validation Service, Risk Management & Compliance Application (CVS, GRC) across all client PCI projects
- Identify and escalate GRC support issues as necessary
- Identify new CVS GRC capabilities and submit them to product management
- Accurate and timely reporting of time and expenses as directed by company policies
- Management of projects assigned (including client interaction, deliverables, work plans, etc.)
- QA of all projects assigned and delivered (including deliverables)
- Status reports of all projects assigned
- Personal development to expand/adapt skill set as directed by VP
- Periodically support Sales and Marketing activities to include (but not limited to): speaking engagements; Webinars; meeting/conference attendance; white papers; and thought leadership
- Coaching/mentorship of other team members as requested by the VP/MC
- Represent the Company at all times in an ethical and professional manner
- Ensure that all communications, especially email, are of high quality in accordance with the company’s standard business policies
Requirements
· B.S. in Computer Science or related computer field
· Compliance (Visa/MC - PCI, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA)
· A minimum a CISSP/CISM/CISA and a QSA certification.
· Conducted at least 6 projects as a solo resource
· Ability to stand in for Managing Consultants when they are unavailable.
· Travel – 50%
